Training and Events Coordinator

Responsibilities

1. Training Needs Analysis & Course Delivery

• Conduct organization-wide training needs analyses to identify skills or knowledge gaps.

• Work with managers to develop L&D plans and select appropriate training methods (e.g., simulations, mentoring, on-the-job training, online learning).

2. Training Coordination

• Identify and liaise with training vendors to organize relevant programs.

• Conduct post-training surveys to evaluate effectiveness.

• Assist in coordinating training schedules and logistics.

3. Collaboration with External Training Organizations

• Work with external training providers to design customized learning solutions.

• Ensure that external programs align with company objectives.

• Manage contracts and maintain relationships with training vendors.

4. Event Support & Management

• Identify and negotiate with vendors and venues for L&D events.

• Manage event budgets and track expenses.

• Coordinate logistics, materials, and communication for events.

• Follow up and evaluate post-event effectiveness.

5. Monthly Survey & Data Management

• Conduct monthly surveys to assess employee training needs and engagement.

• Analyze survey results and provide insights for improvement.

• Maintain training records and generate reports using Excel.

6. Internal Communication

• Develop and distribute internal communications related to new policies, programs, and training schedules.

• Ensure clear and consistent messaging to employees about L&D initiatives.

• Support communication efforts for training programs and organizational updates.


Skill Requirements

● Strong event planning and project management skills.

● Excellent communication and negotiation skills at executive levels.

● High proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting.

● Ability to create engaging and informative training materials.

● Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.

● Strong social media, email and website skills that can be utilized to promote events.


Required Experience

● Proven experience as an L&D Coordinator, Training Facilitator, or a similar role.

● Experience in multinational organizations is preferred (education, insurance, banking, or financial industries are a plus).


Required Education and qualifications

● Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field.
