Responsibilities
The Video Editor plays a key role in producing high-quality, engaging visual content that supports brand storytelling, marketing campaigns, and lead generation performance. This role is responsible for editing a wide range of video formats (from social media to branded content), ensuring creative alignment with ILA’s vision and values.
Working Relationships
Internal: Creative Team, Digital Marketing, Trade Marketing, Academic Teams
External: Production vendors, freelance videographers, agencies, talents, students
Responsibilities
- Edit video content for various platforms including YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, internal communications, etc.
- Transform raw footage into polished videos with appropriate pacing, storytelling, color correction, music, effects, subtitles, and transitions.
- Collaborate with the creative team, copywriters, and campaign managers to align video with campaign objectives and brand guidelines.
- Work closely with videographers and production crew to ensure post-production aligns with original brief and creative vision.
- Manage file organization, storage, and versioning of all video assets.
- Stay updated with video trends, social media formats, and editing techniques to bring fresh creativity into the content.
- Assist in motion graphic design or animation (if capable).
Skill Requirements
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.
- Familiarity with color grading, sound design, basic animation.
- Experience working with digital/social content formats (Reels, Shorts, Ads).

Required Experience
- You keep up with content trends on social platforms (especially Gen Z-focused).
- You are detail-oriented and proactive in solving problems during the editing process.
- Basic to intermediate experience with 3D animation or integration of 3D elements into video projects is a strong advantage.
- Experience using AI tools to enhance video editing workflows (e.g., auto-captioning, AI upscaling, background removal, etc.).
Experience
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in video editing or multimedia production.

- Background in agency or education industry is a plus.
